If your tickets are for "Collect at Attraction" and the payment cardholder (you) isn’t going to be present at the time of collection, you will need to provide the group with a letter of authorisation. A quick example of a letter of authorisation is included below. Where X’s are included these are numbers that you will provide based on your booking and the relevant card details.
To whom it may concern,
I (CARD HOLDER NAME) authorise (COLLECTORS NAME) to collect and use the booking ref(xxxxxxxx)
The booking was made with payment card ending *XXXX
SIGNATURE OF CARD HOLDER
DATE
The named collector will also need photo ID to confirm their name.
If your tickets are Print@Home then you are welcome to either print these out for the recipient or forward the tickets to them for them to get scanned on their smartphone at admissions.
Please be aware if you are collecting a Merlin Annual Pass/es, the payment card holder MUST be present with the card used for payment. Merlin Annual Pass/es will not be issued otherwise.
